supergroup acquires ConversionWise in 100% M&A Deal.

supergroup has announced the 100% acquisition of ConversionWise in a majority cash plus share merger deal.

Founded by Oliver Kenyon and Andy Haskins in 2013, ConversionWise are a leading CRO Agency based in Bristol, with over 50 staff and global clients such as G-Fuel and Boom By Cindy Joseph and even sports icon Lionel Messi.

As well as working with retained larger clients, ConversionWise have built an academy for aspiring CRO specialists with a paid subscriber base of over 700 members.

The development of subscriber and retainer clients has seen ConversionWise grow revenue 200% YOY.

supergroup is now made up of three companies, 200 people and £17.5m in revenues. Services include Native Media buying, CRM, and CRO, and it’s looking to extend its portfolio to increase capability for ‘scale up’ DTC brand clients.

supergroup’s acquisition model involves partnering with BLUE14, an Angel Investment Syndicate that focuses on fast growth Digital Agencies. It’s run by Jim Lewcock (Founder of The Specialist Works) and made up of other successful Agency Founders who have sold their Agencies.

Andy and Oliver have both now joined the syndicate.

All 3 supergroup companies have come via BLUE14. It has 12 Digital Agencies in its current portfolio.
