Fast Growth Indie Agencies Launch supergroup at £30 Million Value

A new digital performance group, supergroup, has been launched with a focus on providing an alternative M&A network built of the worlds best performance marketing companies. 

The group is aimed at providing a more agile and capable solution for the fast-paced demands of SMEs, which drive 40% of the world economy and make up 45% of all marketing spend.

“The new digital generation of SME brands are attractive to win as clients, but global networks are not well equipped to deal with them,” said Joe, CCO and leading organic growth & innovation at supergroup. “There is a great opportunity for an agile marketing group with multinational capability to win and grow SME clients, and that’s exactly what we are doing.”

supergroup aims to provide an alternative M&A network that successful agency Founders would authentically wish to join. The ‘incubator meets agency’ model is the opposite of the ‘Buy and Build Network’ model, and invests early  (through the Blue14 syndicate) to build companies and align cultures, before acquiring them. This provides a de-risked model with a lot of internally generated deal flow.

I want to help build a Tier One Media Network before I am 40 years old.” At just 24 years old, James represents a new crop of super-fast growth Founders who have reached significant growth but still have a long way to go in their careers.

supergroup has already achieved remarkable growth, with combined profits of close to £4M and 150% year-over-year growth, and is now set to continue its growth through organic innovation and a pipeline of M&A deals from investment incubator Blue14.
